Product Description

Students complete the brochure while reading a text. Since statistics show that students retain more information when they read a text more than once, this is just a simple note taking method to be used with multiple readings. For example, students could complete the cover page and vocabulary during the first reading. The second reading could consist of making note of important events/facts and completing comprehension questions given by the teacher. The third reading (independent) could consist of summarizing the text after reading. Note: I did not invent the Who, What, Where, When, Why, How summarizing method. I found it in a resource book.
