PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students collect at least 10 articles (from editorials or photos w/captions to deep coverage stories) on a single topic from a variety of sources. In preparation for writing on their own, they should analyze each author’s writing for tone and style then summarize/synthesize and discuss the quality of the writing in small groups. Peers comment on the analysis and offer suggestions for writing on the topic researched. Includes rubrics for peer and self-evaluations.
