This alphabet assessment is for students who may be non-verbal or have word retrieval difficulties. The letters are presented four at a time on a shaded background. The shaded background may help students who have difficulty seeing print on white paper. I have included an assessment for lowercase and uppercase letters. The teacher says a letter and the child points to or circles the correct letter. There is a page included with the letters that are to be given and in their correct order. This could be used for scoring as well.
