Nonfiction AR Forms are for nonfiction books. Students rate the books from 1 star to 5 and give reasons why. They describe the main idea and how it is supported by key details from the text. They write four new words that they learned from context clues or text features. This form is to prepare students for AR (Accelerated Reader) quizzes.
This is something that my students use everyday during silent reading time. They finish their book, then do a AR Form, then take an AR test on the computer.
