Are your students NUTS about NONFICTION? Have them create this display about one of their favorite nonfiction books or a nonfiction book or article they have recently read.
After reading a nonfiction book (or article), students follow the directions stating what to write in each of the ten acorns. The acorns contain prompts related to main idea, summarizing, important facts, fun facts, text features, a rating, and a recommendation.
After students have written on each acorn, they assemble their craftivity! A student-friendly direction page is included.
Check the preview to take a peek at ALL of the pages included in this craftivity!
***UPDATE! 1/6/2015- A buyer emailed me today asking me if I would consider including a version for students reading nonfiction magazine ARTICLES rather than nonfiction BOOKS. I thought that was a great idea! Therefore, I added an alternate file called "Nutty About Nonfiction- article version".***
