Description

Are you ready to have your kids write in an effective way about the world around them?

This complete writing unit guides students along the writing process from brainstorming, drafting, editing, revising, and finally publishing.

The unit begins with an easy to follow method for generating ideas for students to write about. After picking their favorite topic students will be introduced to the drafting stage.

Once in the drafting stage simple to understand instructions on writing strong introductions, body paragraphs, and conclusions are presented to the students.

After drafting, students are provided with peer editing sheets in order to help them get more sets of eyes on their papers during the editing process.

Next students are set up with a high leverage revising checklist to give their essays a final layer of polish.

Finally students are ready to use the included publishing sheets to create their final essays.
