PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Do your students get lost and overwhelmed in the nonfiction section of your library? Help them find their way with a Nonfiction Library Hunt!

*Team up with your librarian/media specialist when planning for this activity for best results!

This activity includes twelve different worksheets to distribute among your students. Each worksheet has 21 parts.

Typically, I have my students listen to a 5-10 minute library orientation from our media specialist and then we set them free to complete their mission. Motivated 11th graders can complete the hunt in 15-20 minutes.

**Please check your library's organization system prior to this activity in order to ensure that you have the corresponding sections. These worksheets use the Dewey Decimal System and sections of works available in an average high school. I've included an editable version should you need to make alterations -- feel free to do so!
