This Nonfiction Literature Circles Packet is Monster Detective themed! Assign students a non-fiction text to read over a period of time in conjunction with this packet. (I love using the Magic Tree House Fact Trackers with this, but you can use anything!) Each student has a "detective job" and searches for examples of each non-fiction text structure while reading. There is a recording sheet that corresponds to each job. Additionally, there is a reading schedule and meeting schedule. Finally, there is a group peer evaluation rubric!
