These passages are perfect for SLPs, special education teachers, or general education teachers.

This product is great for students in 2nd-5th grades. I often use this product with middle school students who have language impairments as well.

→ Use the differentiated comprehension questions to allow your students to either answer the open ended questions or answer the questions with multiple choice options.
• Main Idea/Detail Graphic Organizer
→ Use this graphic organizer to help your students identify important details and in turn determine the main idea of the passage.
• Graphic Organizer
→ Use this graphic organizer to help your students plan a 5 sentence paragraph. Allow them to use the nonfiction passage or research independently to fill in the graphic organizer.
• Write a Paragraph
→ Use the included page for your children to write a 5 sentence paragraph based off of the graphic organizer they completed.
