These two menus are designed for use with a nonfiction article. My students keep the same menu for the semester, but the non-fiction article changes weekly. I select articles that correlate to our Social Studies standards, as I teach Language Arts and Reading. Each menu item is designed for students to truly be engaged with the text. It requires them to interact with the article, rather than simply answer a list of comprehension questions. They love having a choice on Thursday, and I have received many creative products!
