This is a great form to guide students' reading and responding to nonfiction text.
I use it to teach main idea, using structure. For example, The text explained THE CAUSE AND EFFECT of pollution on earth.
Also, to show how to respond.
For example, I think it is important to understand the effects of pollution, so that people can take steps to reduce it.
There is also a place to add lingering questions.
