Nonfiction Wild Turkeys Close Reading with Art Activity

This is a nonfiction close read about turkeys. There are two close reading passages Wild Turkeys and Wild Turkey Families. These passages will help you integrate science into your classroom.

The turkey photos are in color. There are larger photos with vocabulary and vocabulary building activities. There is also a place to illustrate vocabulary.
There is a student created fact book in a turkey shape. This close read is for higher level first graders, second graders and third graders.
