4 major reading comprehension strategies, and more, are covered on each and every entry of these genre-specific reading logs: one is for fiction and one is for non-fiction! These two logs are genre specific, and whether it's per chapter, short-story, or article, each entry of this log will give students the guidance they need to interact with each text/chapter read and the documentation teachers desire.
Students will read ANY text, formulate a prediction and question BEFORE they read, summarize either the events or the facts DURING or after reading, and finally choose from a menu of response starters for AFTER reading, where text evidence is required. Designed for multiple uses, multi-use.
