How to Use Your Download?
These cards cover all short vowels. Words and nonsense words are in a CVC pattern. Simply sort the cards based on whether they are real word or nonsense word. Place the cards under the correct heading card which says "Real Words" or "Nonsense Words". You can also have your students work on a table, the floor, or sort them into a pocket chart. You can add student accountability by having your students record their sorts on the newly included worksheet.
