This produce contains over 300 colorful cards with nonsense words in order to help elicit the correct production of the /r/ sound. There are five sets total:

When using these cards, I use them in the following way:
Practice with students 1 on 1
5 - 10 minute sessions daily
As many repetitions as possible in those 5-10 minutes
Train students for correct production using Dum Dums (small suckers)
You pair the Dum Dums with the words by having the student place the sucker in their mouth right behind their teeth. They say the /r/ portion of the nonsense word with the sucker in their mouth and then pull it out for the second part of the word.
We start off with producing the sounds with models (I even get my own sucker and show them how its done), once 80% has bee achieved we then transition to no models.
Do not be afraid to jump back and forth from models to no models. Always remember to give the student enough support so that they feel successful.
We cycle each day from one set of words to the next. The order does not really matter in my opinion I just try to give equal time to each set.
Once the child is 80% successful on all five lists without models I usually jump to real words.
