This is the final assessment I use for my unit on nonverbal communication. It is done in student pairs as a prepared performance. Students develop a story to be told completely without words in four chunks; an example is provided. The number of chunks can be reduced to 2 or 3 for the sake of time or to make any needed modifications. This can also be used as a class activity instead of an assessment. A complete rubric is included.
