This product is designed for students with social communication issues who struggle to interpret nonverbal social cues. The lesson focuses on smiling and teaches students that when people smile they are not always happy. It provides explicit instruction on what it means when people bite their nails, look away while smiling, raise their eyebrows and bite their lips. After students answer four questions that ask them to select the correct picture, they play a bingo game in which they work to find the person that matches a verbal description. For example, look for a girl who is nervous.
