What educators are saying

Great activity! Love using it to help my students practice finding probabilities with normal curves. Thank you!
We did this activity on the half day before break, it was a nice way to review what we had learned, and relaxing to color!

Description

Students will forget they are doing math problems while working through this fun color by number activity. Each answer to a question will require the student to shade a portion of the diagram in the indicated color.

Questions ask for responses as a percentage of the population and approximations of the number of people/items in the given set. Vocabulary includes less than, more than, between, no more than, no less than, at most, and at least. These problems will allow student to practice with z-scores and percentages from a table or by using the "normalcdf" function on the TI graphing calculator.
