Product Description
Introduce students to all 100 North Carolina counties by placing them correctly on a map. This is a project my students love, and the end result is always a great keepsake! Directions and tips for how to use this product are included.

During this project, students will:

•Label the 100 counties of NC on their map
•Label the 3 regions of NC
•Label the bordering states of NC
•Label the bordering ocean of NC
•Label our state capital, Raleigh, in Wake County
•Color their map according to directions
•Take the Map Quiz with their completed project

Included in the download:

•A blank map to copy for students.
•A map with the100 counties listed for you to distribute to students to use as they fill in their own map.
•A colored map answer key.
•A 3 page map quiz with 15 questions about their map.
•A map quiz answer key.

This activity aligns perfectly with North Carolina's Essential Standards for 4th Grade Social Studies.
