Delve into the mysterious society of North Korea by navigating satellite images in Google Earth.
Students are given nine place marks to analyze in North Korea. At each location, they make inferences about what they are looking at. They will then need to support their hypotheses with specific evidence from the satellite imagery.
The lesson is designed to get students critically-thinking, using context clues, making inferences, and navigating satellite imagery -- all while immersing themselves in the fascinating world of North Korea.
Please note that Google Earth needs to be downloaded on to the computer prior to use. This can be done for free by going to www.google.com/earth
