Looking for a way to spread some Christmas cheer in your classroom this year? Have I got a no-prep solution for you!
Santa’s assistant, Ima Elf, has written your students looking for classroom reporters for the North Pole Observer, Santa’s daily newspaper. Each day, students are asked to complete simple tasks such as reporting on the weather and suggesting fellow students for Santa’s Nice List.
There are five forms with slight variations so that students know each day what is expected of them with little or no direction from you. There is also a “generic” form that can be printed for several days in a row.
As a teacher, you get to determine the duration of the activity...one day, one week, or more! This simple project can be used as quick morning work or as an easy no-prep literacy center.
I hope you and your students enjoy this fun holiday idea!
