Your students can see part of the North Pole as they help Santa find his sack of toys - all while using their voices with this animated Christmas vocalization resource. Students can pretend they are the different objects/characters with their voices and/or come up with their own words to say as they perform each pattern. This is a great way for students to warm-up their voices, vocal exploration or just for fun! Included are 8 animated vocalization scenes, 8 pre-made vocalizations (the same eight without animation so you can go your own speed), and 8 blank vocalizations for students to create their own. Download the preview, then open it in Adobe Reader to see an example.
The animated vocalizations are in a pdf file with hyperlinks connected to mp4 videos. Use the down area key in the tool bar to advance to a vocalization. Once there press the play button in the bottom left corner. There may be a slight delay before the movie plays (due to the size of the file) but there is a countdown to let your students know when to begin. Then all your students have to do is follow the moving item or figure (Santa hat, Christmas bulb that changes colors, Christmas cupcake, reindeer, Santa, etc.).
* For those of you who use a Mac, make sure to open the file in Adobe Reader so the animations (video hyperlinks) will work.
