Cow Rhyming: Students match rhyming words from the story. This can be used as a reading center, individual work, small group lesson, or needs based lesson.

Math Mats: Addition and subtraction mats with numbers and manipulatives to use when making addition and subtraction sentences on the mat.
Story Element: Worksheet for students to write the elements of the story.
Story Element Barn Booklet: An element booklet in the shape of a barn for students to write the story elements on the page provided.
Lesson Plans: Lesson Plans that will cover 6 days of study for the book. Comes with questions and answers.(according to time these plans can be extended beyond 6 days)
Corn Writing: A writing activity in the shape of corn. This can be used as a whole group activity or in a center.
Venn Diagram: A venn diagram for comparing the story and The Little Red Hen.
I Liked Writing Activity: Writing page for students to write about which story they liked the best: “Not Now !” Said the Cow or The Little Red Hen.
Vocabulary Cards: Vocabulary cards with words from the story with pictures and definitions.
Popcorn Pictures: These can be used when making a graph for the popcorn students like the best: regular, cheese, or caramel.
My Favorite Popcorn Writing: A writing activity for students to complete after finishing the graph. They will write about which popcorn was their favorite.
Popcorn Pattern: This can be used to display with the popcorn writing , as the writing activity with writing placed on the popcorn pattern when completed, or just as a fun art activity after finishing the story. (see enclosed pictures)
