This guided note takingtemplate is an excellent tool to use with any introductory or review lesson. Space is given for the term, its definition, and examples.
This can be used to help all students stay organized or as an accommodation for special education students. For students in younger grades, you may want to do notebook checks to make sure they are keeping all of their notes neat and in order.
These sheets are also a great tool for review for quizzes, tests, or finals. You may want to allow open note assessments. I do this occasionally, sometimes announced, sometimes unannounced, as an incentive for taking good notes and keeping them organized.
