This worksheet was created to help students begin writing music notation (specifically quarter and eighth notes) successfully. I've tried to keep a minimalist design with only pragmatic graphics and text.
-Quarter and Eighth Notes with note-heads on the bottom of the stem (line 1) and top of the stem (line 2).
-Light grey notes in the first measure of each line for students to trace. These are dark enough to show up when printed on a copier.
-Specific note sizing considerations. This worksheet allows students to draw the notes without spending copious amounts of time drawing the note-heads.
-2/4 time signature
