This binder/ notebook grading sheet is set up for peer grading of a 3' binder. Here is how it looked in the classroom-
Student would pick up a binder sheet as part of the BOCA (Beginning of Class Activity) and would then open up their binder and pull out the necessary items (2 writing utensils, highlighter and eraser) and lay it on the top of their open Civics tab. Teacher would then tell the students how they would be switching and students would follow those directions. Students would then write their name for the grader’s name and then grade the binder. As for grading, students earned either full or no credit, either a 4/5 or 0, no partial credit was given. When everyone was done, students would then return to their binder and then initial at the bottom showing that they double checked the math, the grade was accurate and that they saw what grade they earned. Sheets would then be turned in for recording.
