This resource provides positive encouragement notes for students. Research shows that teacher expectations can have a profound effect on student performance. Why not offer a little positive encouragement before a test or exam to produce a calming effect, while boosting student confidence? The notes come in small and large sizes with a variety of flowers and colors and the words, “You’re Expected to Bloom”. It also comes with background information on Rosenthal and Jacobson’s 1968 landmark research, “Pygmalion in the Classroom” and a response sheet, as well as links for extension opportunities to learn more about Rosenthal and Jacobson’s study. Instill great expectations in all of your students with a note of encouragement and watch them bloom!
