Product Description
This powerful and thought-provoking Powerpoint presentation uses the Nazi anti-Jewish laws to help students reflect on how an event like the Holocaust could affect their own lives. Students are challenged to put themselves in the shoes of a Jewish youth in the 1940s, as one by one, their rights, belongings, and loved ones are taken. This interactive presentation, which can be done with or without teacher narration in a silent and darkened classroom, takes about 40 minutes and ends with a written reflection. I have used it for a number of years as an effective and powerful introduction to teaching The Diary of Anne Frank. This was co-authored by Amy Riebli; be sure to check out her TPT store! - Rae Galeazzi
