My kiddos absolutely LOVED this novel! The social issues of bullying and friendship were great themes that we were really able to explore and think critically about. I do the novel study at the beginning of the year, because the reading level is perfect for the beginning of 5th grade. It would also be great for 4th graders moving into 5th, or even a 3rd grade enrichment project!
