Looking for a way for students to record their Notice and Note Signposts and reading thinking? Look no further! With this handy log, your students now have a space to record the most important signposts. By only recording the most important signposts, students have to critically think about all the signposts they found and then decide which ones are the most important for the reading for that day/week/assigned reading.
A handy anchor question chart is included as a reminder for your students what the signposts are and the corresponding anchor question. There is space for students to record the page number, signpost code (CC, AA, MM etc), text clue, and reading thinking/answer to the anchor question..
If you would prefer, I can send the log to you as a Google Doc so you can edit it to fit your needs.
