Want to get the minds and bodies of your students moving? Traditionally grammar practice comes in the form of boring paper-pencil worksheets that students complete sitting quietly at their desks. However teachers know students are more engaged in their learning when they actively participate. These Kagan-inspired activities are designed to do just that.
Included in this product are three engaging activities. Name That Noun Job pairs students to coach each other to identify the job of underlined nouns in sentences. Find the Location requires student pairs or individuals to move to a location in the room labeled with the noun job that matches the underlined noun in their sentence card. In the activity, Make a Match, students are given a sentence card with an underlined noun or a noun job card. Moving around the room to music, students must find a matching card.
