"Pet Rescue" centers provide a fun and convenient way for your students to review and apply their understanding of singular and plurals nouns, as well as verb agreement in sentences!
Your students will absolutely love having the opportunity to "rescue" the adorable pets in the "Pet Rescue" game while distinguishing between singular and plural nouns.
In the sorting game, the students can use the same cards from the "Pet Rescue" game to categorize the word cards into two groups: Singular Nouns and Plural Nouns. A recording sheet is included for this game so that you can quickly assess the students' level of understanding.
In the third center activity, "Pet Sentences", the students will create sentences by manipulating sentence part cards. They will choose a singular or plural noun card and match it with the correct verb tense in the predicate in order to make a complete sentence that makes sense. A recording sheet is also included for this center.
Finally, the students have the opportunity to independently practice writing pet sentences associated with a given pet picture. They must choose the correct verb tense from a word bank to include in the sentence. There are two printable sheets for this type of practice.
