PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students must think of three different nouns and write them in the boxes: a person, a place, and a thing. Next, they must create a sentence using all three nouns!

My first graders loved coming up with their own nouns, but you could add an extra challenge by having students draw nouns from buckets (three buckets: one for person, place, and thing, could be student-generated previously) and come up with a way to connect them. Or have them look at photos and identify three nouns they see in the photo, etc.

This page allows students to create three sentences in this way, but can be copied on both sides for six.

Let me know how you use it!
