As a Teacher of the Deaf, I am often creating new resources for teaching differing parts of the English Language. In an attempt to create a new activity, I created this 55 Slide PowerPoint Presentation that focuses on the creation of sentences with a missing noun. Each slide is in fill-in-the-blank format and offers a visual image that corresponds with the sentence provided, as well as 3 noun options. The student will then choose the correct noun to fill-in-the-blank. It is a great resource to engage students in conversational speech, as well as allows the teacher to redirect students with examples and correction to further assist them in obtaining a concrete understanding of the nouns. Hopefully you'll find it as interesting as I have with my students! It is able to be edited; therefore, if you don't like the sentence or image I've chosen, you can change it to meet your individualized needs! I generally use it on the Smartboard and then use the pens to write the correct noun in the provided blank space when teaching. It helps the students to understand which noun is correct for each sentence.
**Not sure why the thumbnail images do NOT show the blank line I've included within the sentences on each slide! Just want the potential buyers to know that there is a LINE drawn to indicate that one of the 3 noun options goes in the sentence in that particular spot!
