Help students develop syntax by practicing the noun+verb+where sentence structure. Parts of speech are color coded to assist visual learners.
This worksheet has students fill-in the blanks with nouns, "to be" verbs, or prepositions to complete sentences. Requires students to pay attention to parts of speech, word order, and subject-verb agreement. Students also write their own sentences using the sentence structure. Use this as a guided introduction, to review the syntax, or as an assessment. Correlates well with workbook 2 of the Apple Tree Curriculum, but can be used on it's own to support any grammar study.
It also corresponds well with sentence formula #2 on the sentence structure cards also available in my TPT store.
