I don't know about you, but when the kids come into my classroom they can give examples of nouns and verbs very easily. They become frustrated when they have to identify the nouns and verbs within a sentence. This is a stepping stone lesson to them actually breaking sentences about by subjects and predicates.
I am sure this can be used in many grades because if they don't have it by 4th grade, it may not stick for a while.
I am gearing my classroom toward personalized learning next year, so this will be the first of many ELA lessons. Watch out for upcoming lessons within the week. This is a smartboard file, so make sure you have the program on your computer.
