This powerpoint and applied practice worksheet began its journey as a review of common/proper, singular/plural nouns before state testing. Other teachers have used it as an introduction to these types of nouns. It is quick and simple, "to the point." Its effectiveness was proven by my students when I heard "oh, yeah" several times during the presentation. I use this as a go to all during the year to keep these basic skills sharp. The practice page attached is perfect to keep in a pocket of a writing folder as reference.
