Practice all 95 Dolch Nouns Sight Words, while strengthening spelling, reading, and fine motor skills, with these fun and engaging Art and Scissors Centers!
Sight Words Magazine Cuttings: Each page has two sight words, minus “Santa Claus,” which is the only word on its page, for students to color in however they would like. They will then comb through the magazines (supplied by you) to find and cut out each letter within each of these sight words. Students will finally glue each cut out letter within the box to make each word.
Sight Words Cutting and Sorting: Each page has six-eight sight words (each sight word is used at least once) for students to color, cut out, and then paste into one of two categories (syllables, vowel sounds, ending consonants and vowels, starting letters) to help strengthen hand eye coordination, knowledge of sight words, and language skills.
Sight Words Art: Each page focuses on one sight word. Using their choice(s) from your art supplies table, students will decorate each sight word in three different ways. Art supply ideas: paints, markers, colored pencils, glue and tissue paper, glitter, crayons, scraps of construction paper or fabric, feathers, wiggle eyes, stickers, etc.
