This nouns and adjectives activity requires students to think of things that they would find/see in different situations. They are asked to draw 10 things for each situation and then record the noun. To complete the activity, they need to record an adjective to go with each noun.
This activity is a great way for students to practise noun and adjective identification. I have used it as a literacy station during guided reading. It is a great way to cater for the learning needs of all students, as they can come up with a range of answers according to their own literacy skills and vocabulary development.
This download includes 6 pages of activity cards (9 cards per page with a total of 54 cards) and one instruction strips page. The instruction strips page is designed to be copied onto coloured paper and cut apart so that each student can stick an instruction strip to the top of their page in their workbook. This way, you know what each page in their work book is for and parents can see very clearly what the task requirements were.
