Organize nouns from the book I Love You, Stinky Face.
Students know that a noun is a person, place, or thing. Animals are sometimes forgotten because they are not specifically in the list.
Using the loved story I Love You, Stinky Face by Lisa McCourt, have students practice noun usage by separating nouns into a column of “animals” or “things.” Students will get practice with nouns in general while seeing that grammar is a natural part of reading.
Two worksheets are included with ten different nouns on each sheet - twenty total. You can do first together as a class and the second as an assignment, or divide them for different groups. The answer key is included.
