Synopsis: Autumn is time of celebration. It is a time when you think of fun with leaves, school starting, and celebrating Halloween. In a town with the Herdmans, it is a little different. You think of any kind of fall disaster that can happen. That is why the mayor and the school principal decided to cancel the town's trick-or-treating and celebrate it in school, instead.
At first every child in town is mad about this. When they find it is at school, they aren't interested in it. Then they find out the Herdmans aren't coming. Suddenly, the thought of making it through the night without getting jumped and spray-painted doesn't sound half bad.
Unfortunately, the Herdmans find out the rest of the kids are excited they aren't coming to the Halloween party at school. This changes everything...
