What others say

"My students really enjoyed this one. I think the cover was a little too small, so I made a template that was a little bit larger. This may have been my printer. I liked the questions on this and my students put good thought into the project. "

Description

Creative Book Reports are always a hit with teachers, students, and parents. That's why I created this interactive foldable book report to use in your classroom or with your homeschool children.

This Exploding Box Project can be used as an extension menu activity for a novel study, picture book, or literature circle.

Your students will be so excited to present what they learned from the book with this hands-on activity.

All you will need to create this easy project is scrapbook paper, scissors, glue, and color tools! It's easy enough for the not-so-crafty teacher to create.

I have included:

  • A step by step video tutorial i
  • A template with guiding questions for completing the book report
  • Two editable rubrics

Here's what other teachers have said:

  • "This was amazing! My students loved it. We used the novel Stuart Little."
  • "Worked great students loved it! Thank you!"
  • "Loved this unusual approach to a book report- in my plans for next year already,"

This is an amazing product! I love the final product, my students love the final product, and all who see them on display comment about how "cool" they are. A bit tricky to put together, but with adult supervision, they come together and are worth every effort!
