The Novel Study Guide for "Gravesavers" is a self-directed activity requiring a significant amount of responsibility to complete. As the reader, students will create their own reading schedule and respond to what they read in a variety of ways.
To complete this study, students are required to submit two response sheets, five journal entries and a final assignment. The 5 journal entries should follow the reading schedule. These journal entry activities will let students think about the novel and its different parts. Students are expected to think critically about what they are reading. Their efforts will be evaluated based on their progress with the five written journal entries, assessed through conferences with a teacher, and the final assignment.
