This is a great book study to use during December. In this book, Miss Mackle's students study Three Kings' Day, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and the Korean New Year, so this is also a great book study to use if you are studying Christmas around the world.

I originally created this book study for an MTSS/RTI reading group to complete. It includes an explicit teacher's guide for each chapter and an answer key.

Skills practiced:

main idea

map skills

compare and contrast

character changes

making connections
