At the end of a novel study, I give my kids a unique project to complete based on their book. For this particular project, they will be designing a fictitious Amazon.com book listing for their book. On their page, they will summarize the book, provide quotes they love from the book, recommend other books, identify target audience, and illustrate scenes from the book. It really gives them a chance to show what they know about the book in a variety of ways. It may help to show your class some real amazon book listings first so that they can get an idea of the sort of info a listing has. My kids loved this! Enjoy!
**This download includes a student template and a teacher template - I ran both copies for my kids so that they could refer back to what was required in each part of the listing at home, etc. However, you could always project the teacher template onto a SMARTboard to save paper.
