This is the Key to my Devil's Arithmetic Chapter thinking/study questions.
Students answer a variety of questions (Fill-in the blank from word banks, multiple choice, matching, True False, and short answer) to encourage deeper thinking as they read the novel. Though reading could be done in class, this was originally designed for a flipped classroom. Reading at home along with annotation suggestions (please see my annotation suggestions) and study questions upon completion of each chapter. Discussion and tie in happens with the teacher. This would be useful for humanities classes as well as English, or history classes that include Holocaust studies or WW2
