RESTART by Gordon Korman is an engaging read that touches on themes of bullying, relationships and friendships. This book is a great read aloud or as a novel study. Perfect for anti-bullying week. This resource is based on an excellent teacher resource "Comprehension Connections" by Tanny McGregor but it is not necessary to have the book to use this novel study - though her book filled with excellent lessons that would connect well with this unit and your literacy program in general. Also see my other resource, reading comprehension posters, that compliment this novel study.
