PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This novel study packet can be used with any book at any level. This allows you to have a differentiated approach to novel studies, having different groups - or even each individual student - working on books that are right at their level, WITHOUT having to create materials for each individual book.

This can be extremely helpful in a class with multiple levels, a multiage classroom, or a homeschooling situation - great for literature circles and literacy stations.

There are many different pieces to this packet. Teachers may choose to use all of the provided pieces or pick the ones that work best for their students. Included in this packet are:

Before Reading Activities
Novel Selection Sheet
Prediction Sheet

During Reading Activities (every two chapters for up to 30 chapters)
Vocabulary Selection and Definitions
Story Map
Test Question Creation
Reading Response Writing

After Reading Activities
Plot Graph
Essay Prompts
Creative Project

These pieces may be put together into one packet or booklet, or handed out separately and kept in a folder or binder.
