Vocabulary study and varied comprehension questions for each chapter. Vocabulary for most chapters is about three words which the students should be unfamiliar with and require the students to look up the definition in the dictionary. There is a space for students to record what part of speech the word is being used as. The comprehension questions are written for varying degrees of Bloom's Taxonomy thinking with a focus on using the text to support responses. My students love this book and enjoy these thought provoking questions!
