This chart provides a way for students to organize their observations about the movie version of the ALA award-winning novel Tuck Everlasting, by Natalie Babbitt.
Rather than "just watching a movie," students will be able to analyze it effectively by comparing and contrasting it with the novel. As a graphic organizer, this chart heightens the students' attentive responses and improves their awareness of how the story of Winnie Foster, the Tucks, and the concept of immortality can be presented through different media.
The film version of Tuck Everlasting is available on DVD at Amazon.com and elsewhere. It runs for 90 minutes.
